Sometimes we forget. Because it is easier to live a life of sin without any form of guilt or pricking conscience. But then the most painful life to live is a life away from God. Being isolated from God is torturous, and yet sometimes the pain is so subtle that it merely hits the depth of one's soul, and makes it so hard for one to identify that this isolation from God is the source.
For the longest time I stopped feeling the Love of God. For the longest time i forgot to hang on to all his goodness. For the longest time i forgot to love. I do not know how I lived through that time. I was constantly torn, choosing to rely on people rather than God. And being disappointed because humans can never have the stability of God. It's wonderful how the people who have been instrumental in my life have been ironically on the two extreme ends-- someone I love, and someone whom i find so difficult to Love. And yet through the grace of God, these two people have taught me more than one lesson. That god is ever powerful, and he Loves so perfectly and graciously. It makes me want to praise. Because. Just because.
And suddenly i feel loved, truly and entirely. Suddenly i know why i'm loved. Because He does. He loves me. And i'm worth it.
