The world is one large confused fusion-food pie. Whilst globalisation wiles away any sense of propriety tradition and culture that most civilasations to posses, changing culture into more or less American post-social revolution Hollywood POP! culture. People have invariably moved away from morality, should in conflict with their capitalistic motives. Maybe because such a mindset is oh-so american. But i do admit that its not completely one party's fault. However reality is such that being outright greedy and underhanded is no longer a societal faux pax. It fact it has become to such an extent a social norm that it's name has been changed to competition. The positive connotation to such a nomenclature is downright ironic, and does highlight immensely the decadence of such a society.
But let's not be completely morbid.
The one redeeming factor is that I still believe that people are fundamentally good willed. Perhaps with the exception of those who have given up being good altogether because perhaps it's just too difficult. Otherwise we wouldn't be completely conflicting in between being moral and being sucessful. but it's a difficult fight.
I'd Like to sleep now and live in a world where God dominates:)
